Bulrush Horticulture Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers of growing media in the UK and Ireland. 

Bulrush History and Infrastructure

Established in 1979 Bulrush Horticulture is based in Northern Ireland from where we supply many of UK and Ireland’s leading nurseries, garden centres, farm shops and multiple retailers with premium quality growing media.

We are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Danish growing media manufacturer, Pindstrup Mosebrug A/S. Established in 1905 Pindstrup also has production facilities in Denmark, Spain, Estonia and Latvia and sales offices in China, the USA and many countries across Europe.

Neil Bragg

Bulrush Horticulture set up its Research and Development department in 1992 when Neil Bragg joined the Company. Neil had moved from ADAS where he worked as a leading  specialist in horticultural substrates, with an international reputation.
